It wasn't until this past year that I really got into it. My fiance is a huge detail fanatic and in the interest of having similar interests I got involved as well! We split up different tasks of the car when we do it together (which is almost always) and its a nice experience.

Haha not me! Cars are a huge part of our life.

1. Yes the pictures are indeed staged. I have in the action ones but I really did not like how my face looked in them. My fiance was pretty commanding with the pics, and although they do look staged I'm happy with the way most of them came out. Not sure what you mean about the story seeming really scripted. I've been thinking about making this post for quite a long time now and had a specific thing I wanted to say.

2. Because I was not prepared with how sketchy the car seemed. When driving it fast I felt very uncomfortable (could have been due to old tires, very high mileage or mods I didn't know about). This car is mainly used for commuting (23 miles each way in OC), so I considered the M235i as being a better car for commuting (not the Mustang ).

I actually will be attending the larger meets! I'll let you guys know which ones I attend (including Clean Car events). Ya he's an actual member here, although he stopped contributing as much after we discussed that the car would mainly be mine! He wanted another car to not rack miles on his 911, but I explained that its not a GT3 so it doesn't matter.
And ya I started that instagram originally for having a car based profile and I would love to have a lot of followers. Its not like I'm making money off it or anything, not sure what the big deal is!

--

Lets not be too harsh guys. This is my first time on any forum, and nothing more rude is saying this is too fake bc its a girl doing it.
hahaha single car girls are few and far between.

I really recommend a microfiber sponge from chemical guys to get the high spots without giving it too long to cure (about 1 minute instead of 5). Or go over it with the same applicator pad with the opti coat until the spot goes away. For the applicator, you should get the Optimum Dual Polishing pad. I just wasn't patient enough to get it. And nothing wrong with a second coat to make sure you got full coverage.

Haha are you guys are ridiculous!! He tells people we're already married because it sounds better than fiance.
Seriously this is not the reaction I was expecting.

I'm getting tired of trying to convince anyone I'm real. I mean really this is getting ridiculous.

Man I love this car. I love spending every moment in it, even during rush hour traffic. No need to give a review of the car since all you guys very well know your own M3 inside out!
Hope to see you guys on the road, and I'll be waving!

Red

I mostly bought the opticoat for my Volks, but I'm toying with buying a second syringe to do the whole car.

I saved some opti coat to do my wheels when I powder coat them. Where are you buying these syringes? Are you talking about opti gloss coat or regular OC 2.0?

Honestly if I could go back in time, I probably wouldn't opti coat it since I really do like applying glaze, sealant and wax to my car. And by putting anything on it then you lose all the awesome water beading features you get from OC. If you are really into detailing, I wouldn't recommend it (but it is perfect for wheels since you have to use a wheel brush). I'm probably going to polish it off in about a year or two.
Does the red feel more porous than the yellow pad that came with the tube? I think the red will do just as good, hell even the yellow one it comes with is good enough, anything better is just a bonus.

This forum can be harsh at times, lots of members have different opinions and some discussions can get really heated! But all in all its a great group of people that all share one thing in common here! Real or not, don't get bent because of some comments! Keep up the great work and love for your M3! And if your ever on the east coast, PLEASE come detail my car!!! J/k
