Bought a 2013 M3 today!

So today I traded in my 2012 Monsoon Gray S5 Prestige for a 2013 M3 coupe. I was told that the local BMW dealership got one in today, did the deal over the phone at work, got off at the same time the dealership closed, they stayed late and i signed the papers...

I've only driven the thing 18 miles so far! LOL and i love it! Wow this thing is a BEAST

With my S5 AUTO, in drive, it felt like a very solid, fast car. Sport mode was fun...

The M3 is like Drive = Beast Mode, then when you change all the right settings it's just crazy. The most fun thing I have ever driven. I can't wait to drive to work in the morning lol.

I'm going to take a couple of pics for some friends soon and I'll post them up. Mineral white with all the carbon fiber accessories, black interior with palladium silver inserts, competition package. Hopefully I can learn a lot here on the forums, like how to work all the settings lol but I don't have time to search tonight. Just thought I'd introduce myself

Edit: Here's a few iPhone pics. I still haven't gotten a chance to clean her up spotless and take some good pics with my good camera. Disregard the huge smudge that appears to be on my driver's side seat. I took the pic through the window and it's something on the window, lol. I didn't notice until I uploaded it.

Thanks for the welcomes! First 1200? You guys baby it the first 1200? I haven't looked into proper break-in yet. With other cars I generally drive the piss out of it from the get go lol but I definitely wanna do the M3 right

Don't go over 5500 rpm and stay below 105 mph for first 1,200 miles. Afterwards, you can do whatever you want.

Vary shift and rpms, do NOT cruise at 60 mph for a long stretch. And take the break in seriously OP. ingolstadt got nothing on Regensburg but you gotta pay the price

Welcome aboard! And as other's have stated, please take your 1200 mile break-in period seriously. After that 1200 Mile service, to 8K RPM and beyond!

I'd love to know how your 2013 came of the truck with all the BMW performance carbon fiber trim...I was told i had to order and install it separate when I ordered my 2013 last week...
