I think it all depends on how sweaty your palms get while driving and how clean you keep your hands before touching your steering wheel. I haven't used it long enough to tell yet. I have heard its a pain in the ass to maintain though. I'll have more of an opinion in 3-4 months.

Found a great gas station to fill up today and they only charged me $5.14 per gallon for 93 here in Florida. What great deal.
My stocks are down 40%, 401k down 15% year to date, inflation up 7%, housing up 30% and I got a whopping 1.5% salary increase. Seems fair to me. I'm all set for early retirement at the young age of 85. Let's go Brandon. |

Inflation is a world-wide issue btw, caused mainly by supply chains issues, and labor shortages. Even if your rant was coherent, this isn't the place. |

Excuse me, your Florida is showing
Went ahead and set up my 'ceramic coating station' in the basement. Meant to do this all winter and now it's almost spring. Need to coat the Advans for my daily (4Runner) and then a set of TE37's for the M3. Last edited by Rino924; 03-08-2022 at 12:05 PM.. |

Picture perfect day in Monterey.
Bonus: The Laguna Pipes work, at least have kept me from getting into trouble with sound police.

Direct sound away from the sound check station.

The car might even technically be louder than it was with the Akra tips, but just not to the dB meter.

Got around to installing Karbonius some days ago.
Plenum fitment is spot on but the airbox lid doesn't align well with the holes... does anyone have any tips?

Looks great and probably a dumb recommendation because if you're able to put a plenum on/off you probably did this anyway. Did you just start all screws on the airbox lid a couple threads at a time working in a 'criss-cross' order and then go back around and tighten them all evenly?

I didn't care for what was already available, and it was a fun "Arts & Crafts" project. https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=28633583

"Today" being a loose term. I pulled the wheels off of my car and cleaned them up in preparation for new tires.
I finally won the lottery of Costco having PS4S in my size after trying somewhat regularly for the last 6 months. Bonus was that they were on sale so $150 off! Sad part is they were still ~$300 more for the set than it was back in June. Now I wait for summer. |

Somewhat off topic but given the generality of this thread, wanted to share the sad news that Raj Qubain of Beisan Systems has passed away. Many of you will be familiar with his legendary work solving vanos issues on other platforms.
I'd been working with him as a beta tester for new throttle actuators. His commitment and contributions to this community were without measure. Rest in peace, Raj. |
