Gorgeous! How are you liking it!?
I've never had just the akra with a stock x pipe. I had the Akra full evo and also Akra with the MRF catless X. This is waaaaay more tame.

A little more "bassy" in the lower rpms vs stock. The DCT shifts are much more pronounced which I like. But at WOT I cant tell the difference in sound from stock to be perfectly honest. It's fine I want it quiet.

The most noticeable difference oddly was in performance. Because it adds 0.0 more horsepower. But first gear seems to rev a little quicker and there is a lot more chirp on the 1-2 shift as a result of less weight in the rear. Going to need to dragy it to see if it made any actual performance difference from the weight savings.

Replaced Windshield Cowl

Has anyone replaced their windshield cowl due to having wet floorboards after a heavy rain? I did mine today and the replacement from FCPEuro seems of less quality and fit and I have gaps between window and seal.

Do you have a link to the part number or pictures of the install. I'd return it if your confident you did the install correctly.

My SC kit is getting up there in years and mileage, and some of the rubber bits are starting to show their age.
I sourced some replacement hose from Amazon and my local auto parts store, but direct replacement parts are still available from GP-Infinitas.

Also, I didn't like the width of the hose clamps originally provided in the kit, they seemed too wide and I always worried the hose would slip out from under the clamp (only happened when the blowoff valves failed).

Found some narrow clamps on the McMaster Carr website that seem like a better solution.
(I also like that the narrow clamps have flaired edges to keep them from digging into the soft hose material)

I'd send the link to your video to FCP for guidance, other option is expose to heat for a couple of days to see if it doesn't improve fitment. I've never done the install before, there was no tape underneath, perhaps use a bead of sealant?

Last night the wife asked me to go test how stable the camera mount is that we came up with for the E93. Had to make a quick run to Mexico.

That looks pretty good! What did you come up with and what type of camera are you using? I had a window mount for a cell phone that worked fairly well with most cars, but not the M3. I guess the acceleration this thing puts down is a bit much as the top always tilts down now.

And the highways to Mexico are rather busy these days, lol!

Thanks, had to get creative so it would work the same top up or down. It is a GP Hero9. It is attached to the windscreen that is folded down. We used a Gopro clamp, helmet unicorn arm and (the creative part), a curtain tension rod to stabilize it.

I just picked up a mic adapter so I can use an external mic on the rear bumper. That will require another trip to Mexico!

Had my FRM reflashed after it bricked while coding. Got a decent deal from a local guy. Only 50 bucks and an a 30 min drive. Got me back on the road quick which is what I needed since I had the windows down when the FRM failed like a dumb ass. I am just realizing now that I don't believe he updated the frm to prevent the failure from reoccurring. So, it looks like I'll be learning how to do it myself. Best way to do it any ways.

Bought a Euro Impulse shift knob to try out. Does any one have an experience with this knob? I currently have the ZHP knob but I just feel like I need something a bit heavier. I know that a good percentage of people on this forum use the ZHP so I am probably in the minority.

Appreciate it! Running BC DS series coilovers with custom swift springs. Great setup for the money on a street car. Will see how they handle the track later this year.

SPL rear toe and tie rod ends to account for it being as low as it is.

Spotted a Fiat 124 Spider at Ft Campbell with a Pvt behind the wheel.
Normally I wouldn't point it out or take the time to take a picture, but because every other Pvt in the 101st Airborne is seemingly in a Challenger, Charger or Camero, this kid stood out to me.

Also having a tiny road trip with my oldest son, not in the M3, but in a totally badass vehicle…

Definitely going to watch Cars when we get home.

Finally got the test pipes and BPM Stage II tune done today...

The car was raspy and a bit more agressive on the way home from the shop with the test pipes, but once I applied the the tune, it completely transformed the car!

So linear, refined and responsive. I didn't think I could love my M3 any more than I already did! What an amazing new driving experience

I assume those wires running over your plenum are because you are RHD? Really unfortunate because it covers some of the lettering on your awesome plenum.

Holy crap I've never noticed it until u mentioned it. You're right, it appears only the RHD cars have that big mass of cables/hose on top of the plenum.
