Besides the obvious weight savings, Titanium has a sound and resonance hard to duplicate by any stainless setup in the market. I have owned this car before and already went through 6 different exhaust setups but on this second E9x M3, I ponied up the cash to get what I thought answered all my needs. But with the PVD black ceramic treatment, I was limited to options such as Gintani and Eisenmann Race... Both well bought and used exhausts on this forum, but I wanted a solution like that with Titanium and EAS had that answer for me. People can argue on this thread back and forth about performance gains, heat insulation, blah blah blah, but I already shaved 60 lbs with the titanium setup, the extra was for personal aesthetics. We all can get away with wearing a G-Shock and Seiko but why do people pony up sometimes and buy Panerai, Audemars and Rolex... Just different strokes for different folks

Not here really to debate with people on it or not, but no one can argue if this is the price for my temporary happiness, then why not

I'm glad someone else said that quote and it wasn't me... I just saw this movie and I can vividly remember the quote! I think I wouldn't have the balls to say it myself without sounding like a d**che lol
Well put. Looks awesome!!!!!

Lotta haters on the post. Like jsyang15 said, people have g-shocks and some have patek's & rolex's. A watch is a watch but if you want the best and/or exclusive you gotta pay to play!! Enjoy your sick exhaust jsyang15 and don't pay one mind to the haters. Hats off to EAS too!!

Not sure I follow your logic. You agreed that keeping heat in the exhaust is good for increased gas velocity, but you're knocking the coating?
You do realize that ceramic coating on exhaust systems is designed to keep heat in not out, right? And the added benefit is that it keeps surrounding components cooler at the same time because of this.

There's no doubt that the main reason here is for appearance, which is totally fine... I myself have had a system or two ceramic coated for aesthetics. It's the only coating that will hold up and continue to look good over time. However, the thermal benefits have been proven.
I think it's a nice option.

I know of certain other valved system that's out for coating right now.

Agree! - The matt/frozen black and CF exhaust tips look great on light-color vehicles (Alpine, Mineral, SSII, SG. But that's only 4 of the 9 standard colors. The darker-color options (Jerez, Jet, LMB) look better with contrasting ("polished") exhaust tips. Melbourne and IL are probably a toss. Akra/EAS may be missing out on half the market-share (?). Just MHO.
