Anybody notice that you can't retrieve voicemail from iPhone

When I'm in the car and the phone is paired with the BT system, I can never retrieve my voicemail. I can see that I have voicemail but when I try to play it back there is no sound. Anybody else have this problem?

This happens because your voicemail is attempting to transmit to the car through the bluetooth radio. The car has no support for bluetooth audo streaming at present, nor does the iPhone (until iPhone 3.0)

Actually even if I switch to iPhone as the audio source I still get nothing. I actually have to either step out of the car or turn the car off.

i know you can dial a number to get your voicemail
but it changes from phone number to phone number
maybe if you dial that number it works
as its a regular call
not like pressing the voice mail button

I installed the iphone 0s 3.0 over the weekend (and also turned on tethering). Today I called voicemail and before I had a chance to re-route the audio to the iphone, it came thru the car's bluetooth. Nice upgrade Apple!
