Inner Tail Light Malfunction
My LED tail lamp doesn't work when my light switch is in position 1/2/3. I thought it could be something wrong with the LED.
However, when I turn on Fog Lamp, then LED tail lamp works. So what's wrong with my car? Is there something wrong with FRM module? Or should I reset short circuit count? BTW, I didn't see any light related code in INPA error memory. Please help. Thanks! |

give er a little tap, the led board is probably shorting out. remove the light and inspect the solder joints for the light. they are likely failing, my left side inner is starting to act up as well.

The LED light might come from the bulb behind the LED after I turn on Fog Lamp. I have ordered a used part and will test it again. Maybe there's something wrong with the LED PCB... |

Replace it if LCI LED. Mine went out and I’m LCI so there is no bulb or coding that will correct it. Running lights worked but not brake force light. If it’s pre LCI the bulbs shake loss if you shut the trunk hard enough. Unplug, remove the housing, pull the bulbs, clean the contact points and put it all back.

The 2nd picture only has the upper lights working whereas pictures 3 and 4 have both upper and lower lights on. Definitely needs to be swapped out with a new/used LED inner tail light.
