Tom,

I contacted VF and they're not that interested in straight line events, but it appears you are truly into this sort of thing! The Famoso Private 1/4 mile event was cancelled and that was a total bummer of course, but I think there is something even better for us.

Shift-S3ctor has secured a runway time attack event, with side by side roll racing against other cars, very much like M5board style. Craig (Mr.5) is most likely going as well, would love to see some of your cars there! So we can continue to see how impressive the EAS VF620 car is and how it does against all sorts of other cars, but this time legally.

as for VF NOT being interested... that sounds a little strange to me. why wouldn't they be interested? I respect VF as they've recently proven they have a very strong kit (thanks to EAS and VAC) in terms of 60-130 and quarter mile times but why not be interested in all forms of motorsporting events cause your customers (as well as your distributors) are into a variety or such events. Well either way... i hope EAS takes the opportunity to come out to the event and we can all have a good time.

Haha good point, Nik@VF is an old friend I would love for him to go but even back in the day when I had my VF E46 M3 I could never get him to go to the 1/4 mile track with me, lol, he just wasn't into it. It's not his thing, but no doubt he loves the results he's seen so far, and I think the car would do very well at this event.

Tom seems to be into it, VAC is too far away, would love for Tom to come out and see how the car compares to others, or any VF cars. Gintani, ESS, HPF, ProEFi, BBI, will have customer cars there and some shop cars too. Active Autowerke is in on the east coast, but there are some local AA cars that I'm trying to get as well. But there will be a lot of variety here, not just BMW's.
