Removing paint from CF parts?

I have a high kick spoiler that is painted AW. My car is AW, but I have always preferred the look of the full CF for contrast. Is it worth it to try to remove the paint and clear coat by myself and re clear coat it? I've never done something like that but don't really want to pay a shop to do it.

What is the best way to do it without permanently damaging the part? Should I even bother?

Sand, wet sand, clear coat, then polish. Easy peezy. Sand all of the paint off until you get to the carbon and no further. Its not going to hurt even if you sand on the carbon a bit. A little patience and elbow grease and itll be perfect. Theres plenty of youtube DIY instructionals.
