x2 look at this video, power is not always everything. A underpowered nsx taking on a m6 i know the video says its a m3 but its a m6. Im sure the Old gen nsx would shame our m3 around a track.

i like it !
if power and / or fun factor is up there and price is down there, that would be a good contestant for my next car... i know, i know, sweet sweet dreams... looks sexy though...

The site above says it will be over $150,000.00 USD. I think I'll pass. If it were 60-80K I'm in.

Woah !! Watch this car fail within two years im sure no one will buy it at that price. You can get a GTR as a toy for 80 grand and you still have some cash left over for a m3 as a daily driver. I hope they realize the car wont sell unless they drop the price under 80 grand.

Lookswise -- I love it.
Performance -- I'll wait to state my opinion
Price -- doomed for failure if anything north of $75K.

Always liked the NSX. Had one pass me the other day. I was admiring it, as it was a nice example. The driver decides to impress me with it's acceleration, moves out and then grenades the motor. Very sad day in Acura land.

I have owned a couple NSX's as well and although they shine around a track they are not very fast in a straight line. Plus the interior is very old and cheap. My Z4M is light years ahead of my 02 NSX interior wise.

This car looks great but I bet it will be north of $100,000. I will pass.

That NSX project was cancelled last year officially by Honda where Honda recited reason to focus their R&D on green technologies.

http://www.leftlanenews.com/acura-nsx-cancelled.html

However, who knows now they might be having second thoughts with the overwhelming success that the first-ever exotic Lexus car LFA now seems to be enjoying. But, Lexus had the resources and time to dump into the project that Honda simply does not.

That's what I thought, but if you read the article..it pretty much states it was never completely shelved...and now it's back!

agreed. over $150 and you might as well step up and get a 911 Turbo S, or get a Nissan GT-R for less.

I believe if it costs that much, it will be engineered to a much higher exclusive standard with a much more focal point on driver oriented performance, purpose-built exotic materials like carbon fiber, responsive high-revving V8/V10 (I really hope it will not be any hybrid nonsense) and light weight then neither of the cars you mention offer what it will.

If Honda keeps the quantity limited of around 500 - 1000 units then they would not have any problems selling it at all at a high price point.

I highly doubt Honda could get 400hp out of a NA 3.5L V6. It's gotta be FI.

A backwards Accord platform with AWD.... it's going to be interesting to see what this car weighs in at (hopefully close to 3000 lbs).

Sure will be Fi unless they go for a bigger power plant, they managed 187bhp out of the 1.8 and 230+ out of the 2.0 K20 engine in the FD2...

I think it is a good looking car...kind of R8 meets Koenigsegg. Sure to be uber expensive, and unless it has 500hp, it won't be much of a match for the current crop of sports cars out there...Z06, GT-R, R8, LFA, etc.
