1995 BMW e36 M3 - Track Car - Hellrot Red - Recaro, Built Diff - TRADE
Would trade for e92 m3. Google drive with photos, Carfax: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...usp=drive_link Within the last year, the following maintenance items have been addressed: - Brand new, Diffsonline built 3.46 ratio differential with a polished gearset (it was a 6+ month wait for this, and the rear end itself cost ~$4k) - Full fluid exchange with high-temp fluids - Corner balance & track-spec alignment w/ride height adjustment - ABS service with new wheel speed sensors - Miscellaneous maintenance (reverse light switch, passenger window motor, battery ground cable & tie down, rear Koni yellow shock replacement, new PFC race brakes, new Yokohama track tires on 17" wheels) - All work professionally performed by RRT (over $9k in maintenance in the past year with receipts) The car is extremely well set up, runs great, pulls hard, handles beautifully, and offers a very competitive Time Trial platform in the right hands (would require full cage, fire suppression, etc. for wheel-to-wheel racing). As a bit of background on the build, the car is equipped with the following: - 185k miles on chassis & transmission - ~90k miles on engine (replaced by BMW in Boston in 2005, along with clutch & flywheel) - record available - 24lb injectors - 540 MAF - TRM Tune - Supersprint replica headers - Custom 3" single stainless exhaust (catless w/a single muffler) - VAC Vanos Rebuild - UUC Short Shift Kit w/AKG Selector Rod - AKG Motor & Transmission Mounts - Clutch fan delete with Spal fan, low temp thermostat, and euro expansion tank - Subframe & chassis reinforcements - Autopower 4pt bolt-in roll bar - ZHP steering rack - Bimmerworld lollipop control arm bushings - Ground control single adjustable race setup (600/700lb spring rates, camber plates, & rear shock reinforcements) w/Koni yellows - Turner Motorsports rear lower control arms - Hotchkis Sway Bars - UUC Big Brake Kit - Stainless Steel brake lines - Cryogenically treated rotors on all four corners - Condor bushigns - PFC race brakes - Recaro profi fixed back seats (XL driver & regular passenger) - Sparco harnesses - VAC motorsports seat mounts/sliders - MKAH v2 Door Panel Deletes - MKAH glove box/center console panel - MKAH diamond plate floor pans - Turner Motorsports tow straps front & rear - Race numbers are vinyl and easily removable - Kosei K1 17x8.5 on Yokohama 200tw tires Cons: - The car will need new axles at some point. Neither have given any issue, but the driver's side was replaced at some point with an aftermarket axle that has a larger-than-normal CV boot; the larger boot makes contact with the upper control arm, so slight wear on the boot is present (and at times a slight squeak can be noticed). Could be remedied by raising the rear suspension slightly or replacing the axle. - The ABS light occasionally comes on. I had RRT Racing service and replace all of the ABS components a few months ago; they have confirmed that everything is operational, but they suspect the aftermarket axle is the culprit. |
