dont be fooled............
I have both a 2008 fully loaded 335i sedan and a 2011 fully loaded e93 m3, for the price the 335 is an A-Mazing car its FAST light and well balanced, the m3 is amazing as well but feels more like a mustang or camaro to me, i want to love it i do but for the BIG lease payment and the terrible gas mileage , i dont know... i drove my 335 tonight to go out and man the easy torque and great gas mileage makes me still love this car, its feels light and nimble dont sleep on the 335 and that new 335is must be a sick car ..... the 8 cyl m3 is fun sounds great etc, but the 335 is an almost perfect all around BMW imo ...
im going to hate to see my 335 go i hate to say it, thats my rant peace |

Maybe you should have bought an e90 or e92. Any person that compares one of those two models to a camaro should tarred, feathered, and then shot.

You seem more of a 335 type of guy anyway if you complain about the lack of low end torque. Get rid of the M and keep the 335.

....by Beck trying to rile you up.
The horse is dead. We get it, you like your 335 and are disappointed in your M3. |

+1. Even from a short test drive, I felt it had a different feel from my E90. Though it wasn't that bad, it just felt a little heavier and less connected. But the small sacrifice to pay in exchange for droptop fun is worth it IMO
But yeah, the 335 is a very nice car for the money and it is a nice alternative to the M3 for the price and feel. I know I felt the same about E30's. I have a E30 325i and had the luck to watch over my dad's friends E30 M3 for a few weeks while he had to go outta the country for some emergency stuff (didn't trust his car or his keys to a house sitter ). Even though the M3 was a blast to drive, nice power delivery, handling and such, the 4cyl wasn't my cup of tea. It felt strained and a little 'choked' as you go up the RPM spectrum (don't worry I didn't abuse the thing xD). In the end, i felt the M20 6cyl in the 325i was better since it felt smoother and more refined without all the 'struggling' feel that the 4cyl had. sorry off topic xD |

You really have no clue what you are talking about. Really don't. Gas milage sucks, but on a real track my M3 got better gas milage than my 335i. I pushed the M3 to my personal driving limit and it kept asking for more.
As a "road warrior" you should stick with a tuned 335i. It's a great car, unless you need to turn. Didn't you say people to don't drive there cars correctly. IF you want a stoplight to stoplight dragster, I'd go back to the 335i. Congrats, You've made my ignore list.

I know a lot of the time, ok MOST of the time, my typing comes across unintentionally harsh and people think I'm a dick so I HAVE to be on someone's ignore list but Beck's the first person I've ever ignored on ANY forum...including VWVortex...
