My legs are still recovering from the drive.

No more M3 until Cars & Coffee.

hmmm....I'm extremely tempted to enroll myself into the next scheduled Texas Mile event in October 2010.

(Don't worry, I'll figure a way to persuade my wife

)

Is anyone else interested in joining me?

I just got off the phone with one of the lady's in charge, and she said that the cost would be around $325-$350 for all three days of participation. If you only wanna participate in two days, then the cost would be around $225-$250.

Those prices include the vehicles being teched at their site.

That's pretty expensive! Considering it's a three day event, with my hectic schedule, I don't think I'll be able to come

Plus, I don't have very many mods on my car [ yet

] so I may go to the one next spring.

I may just settle for the 2 day option.

Looks like I may head to the next Texas Mile. I just got a job with Jalopnik. Ill be going with them but I have already told them about your interest Nawaaz and they said they would love to see you there!

As of now it looks like I will be finding content to write articles on, picking people for commenter of the day, going to events within reasonable distance, and possibly getting my hands on new cars. For instance it wont be long til they bring by the new mustang GT500 and corvette to they guy I am working under and he has said I should come on over for the weekend he has them for some "Mexican burnout fun."

I have a feeling it will be alot of fun

On another note, I'm getting my front pads/rotors replaced at BMW of Austin and their service blows all of the Houston dealers out of the water.

Yep, everyone i've ever dealth with at BMW of Austin has always been very nice and the sales guys seemed very knowlegdeable.

Just always seemed they were consistanly more expensive on thier vehicle prices.

well it's official...house is listed on the rental market out here. hopefully i can find a tenant soon because i'm ready to move back!! hopefully i'll be seeing you guys again soon.
