I guess if you had a bunch of disposable income you can take it to a paint shop and get a custom paint job.

I haven't heard or seen anything along the lines of what your looking for from BMW. I wouldn't worry about other poeple on this forum getting the same color as you. I really doubt you'll ever meet most of these poeple in person, unless its at some huge official BMW meet. But there are going to be multiples of EVERY color at any large function, so the point is pretty mute by then.
I'd say AW it up if that is what you really want.

I talked to my dealer about my new order and wanted a color that is not standard on the M3, specifically; Individual Brilliant White. My Client Advisor told me such a thing was not possible. Either my dealer is too lazy to do it, or your source is false. I'd prefer it if you are right though... Best, CSL

Oh come on Phoenix Yellow rocks. Itll be expensive but I believe for a real nice custom job 8-9K for an entire custom probably close to 15k. Kind of expensive for paint. I believe strongly yellow will be offered eventually.

i think that it looked cool on the e46 when it was featured in mags and such, but having it everyday would get old, imo. plus, i'm not sure that the e92 could pull it off as well as the e46 did.

Only the E46 M3 can pull PY off. I saw a pic of a E92 in Dakar Yellow and it looked horrible

I have a PY E46 M3 and I don't really think that it gets old. It also looks great even if its a little dirty as apposed to black. It also makes the car stand out alot and not look as dated.

I agree...phoenix yellow is my second favorite color on the e46 and obviously as you can tell i choose laguna seca blue as my first choice...people just dont get it..it makes the cars appearance and experience much more fun...everyone calls yours piss yellow and mine smurf blue....no offense to those who lets say like "black" but how boring is black on a sports car?

I wish they offered Imola Yellow. Here it is on my old car...20th anniversary GTI MK4.
It is vivid and beautiful color, also offered on B7 S4.. M3 would easily pull it off. |
