Ever had random people on the street yell at you?

I think twice I've had people yell at: hey! nice car. Then again my exhaust doesn't sound like I'm doing 80mph when I'm actually going 35mph

I give them something to yell at me about....Whatever the speed limit is, I double it...unless it's a school zone, and then I triple it. BTW I'm the old fart everyone talks about driving too slowly. I try to give the old timers a better name. I make up for all the slow Buicks.

It could just possibly be that old people are yelling because they want the driver of the car to slow down and live a long life like they did.

No, because most of the people in my area own several guns each; and some carry them in their glove boxes... the neighbour on my right always has a Glock 9mm in his F-250. They probably think I tote one too (I don't). Hence, people avoid yelling at one another

Also, the M3 will (when it arrives from Customs) not make as much noise as the shotguns going off on neighbours' land during the upcoming dove hunting season. Seriously.

I have a '06 Speed6 with straight 3'' exhaust, it is loud as hell. So one day after a nice long day at work I get home get undressed and proceed to relax on my couch and watch TV. My doorbell rings. I get up in my boxers to answer the door and there is this 22ish year old girl out there with two crying babies. She was looking so smug for some reason and started yelling at me that I woke up two babies when I drove by her house. I told her I was no where close to speeding, and she insisted I was and my car was too loud. I told her if she wanted to quiet my car down then buy me a muffler.

Later I found out she was so smug because she tracked me down to my house. She walked about 4-5 blocks with 2 crying babies to yell at me.

Being a semi mature adult, I went from going 40kph to 30 kph in the neighborhood. A week later guess who was tailing my ass hardcore getting all pissed off that I was driving too slow in the neighborhood. Stupid people sometimes.

Phew. Lucky that guy was able to buy a gun so easy. Imagine if he wasn't able to shoot someone for telling him to slow down???

yeah - e46 m3 on my street in a 25. shifted from 4th into 2 on a down-grade. wasn't at redline but revs were up there. Got one of those "SLOW DOWN" hand motions from a couple walking in the street. no exhaust... they just assumed i was speeding because of the sound.
