I have a 09 e92 m3...and next week i'm picking up a 2010 e60 m5 indianapolis red...I love the new m5, however, the only one i could find available was this color with SMG...I just ended the lease on my 08 alpina b7...what do you guys think about an indianapolis red e60 m5 w/ smg

since you ordered it, i guess its too late now to ask for opinions.

but i do think the red looks nice on the E60 M5.

What did you think of the Alpina? Really curious to hear an actual owner's opinion. Not a big fan of Indy Red but I think the car will be great, love the E60. You sound like you go through them pretty quickly so worth taking a spin with the last (only) high revving V10 you will find in a production car.

i didn't order it...the dealer was just gettting one in...and it happened to be a pretty well equipped car...kinda iffy on the SMG, but idc really. The alpina is an awsome car, really classy, and a beast on the road.

New M5 will be out in 2 years.... Might be in your interest to lease. Also, i test drove a 2006 M5 with SMG and the jerkiness of the tranny was almost unacceptable.
