I'm glad to hear that you're ok. Despite the costs of these cars, the safety features pay off big time in situations like these.

Wow I would be devastated. I am sooooooo sorry. My car was in a minor wreck and out for a month and it was unbearable. If I could not have another m3 I would be crushed. I still get in every single time excited after 50k miles to hear the raspy exhaust note and intake howl at 8400 rpms. I could not live without it.
If the car is totaled can't you get another m3? |

I really don't get why they don't just revoke the cars license plate when someone lets there insurance policy lapse. Would really stop the uninsured driver due to it being extremely easy for the police to pick them out. Well enough of my rant, you should really consider the new boxter s if you don't need the rear seats. I recently test drove the new cayman s and it was amazing.

Even car threads for wrecked M3's are Alpine White! I don't know how I'd react if that happened to me so close after getting the car, probably in jail for beating the dude senseless with my broken fender.

That sucks, but as others have mentioned at least you're still here to go shopping for a new car!

In canada I would still get paid for my claim regardless of the other driver.

Since he didn't have any insurance, my uninsured coverage is my sole coverage for the entire accident. All claims are being handled with my carrier and my carrier reserves the right to subrogate all claims personally against the other driver. I hope that makes sense. It's been a while since I worked in auto insurance.

I meant that as in he has horrible luck. I did not mean it in the sense of insurance claim situation

Actually, we already have a 911 C4S. Going to a Boxster would be a bit of a step down from that. I did consider the Panamera, although I believe it's just too big for me right now. I do appreciate the recommendations though!

To be honest I would've recommended the new cayman s, but I noticed he had an e93. You shouldn't ignore other brands, no matter what forum your on, it's nice to change things up a bit. I'm also in withdrawal from not driving my m3 in a month so it's been a bit of time since I enjoyed that glorious engine.

Yeah I love the car and the engine, but I'm keeping my options open. I have another car that I may end up getting instead of the M just because ice always wanted one and the owner is a good friend.
And yes, there are way too many AW M's out there! LOL I never realized. I did love mine tho. This accident WAS on 7th St. Just north of Bethany Home in Phx. It wasn't during the suicide lane traffic hours so that wasn't a factor. I still don't know what drove him to do it. I'm looking forward to reading the police report. As for now, I just have to make sure I don't have any long-term injuries. |
