O2 sensor Emissions monitor inc. with arh headers
Has anyone had any issues getting all of their emissions monitors to go complete. I recently flashed my tune back to stock and installed cats again on my car and still can’t get the oxygen monitor to go complete. All of the other monitors have gone complete though. My only mods now are arh headers and an intake. Any ideas?

You may never pass with the headers you have. Note I say "may". Your post is the first I've seen with this issue with ARH headers. Maybe after driving for awhile, maybe a long while, it will set. Sorry I can't be helpful to you. Just thought I'd share with you that your not alone when it comes to emissions. Good luck. |

Thanks. I just jacked the car up the other day and found that there are 02 sensor spacers on my post cats sensors. I removed them and am hoping that’s what my issue was. Fingers crossed!

I think the issue is the cats that ARH uses. Guys on the Mustang sites were dismayed by the crappy quality of the cats being used on the ARH midpipe setup. Also the placement of the cats has a lot to do with this.

I like the Kooks cats which should work fine with the ARH setup. https://www.kooksheaders.com/catalytic-converter.html Dave

Its not that there are cats. Its the type of cats and placement. The cats ARH uses with their systems are garbage they wont pass. I left you a link for Green Cats by Kook headers. One of the main reasons why I didnt go with headers. If Kook made a set of headers for the E9X M3 I would consider them over ARH just because of this. Swithing back and forth every 2 years is a no go for the amount of gains the car gets with the headers. Dave

High flow cats ?
I have a friend with the ARH with high flow cats. I'll ask him about his monitors There is a very specific drive cycle to set readiness monitors It can be found searching the DMV website. I would try that first before digging too deep into another resolution |

Have you asked ARH ?? I'd be really curious what they say...."keep driving, it should pass" or "others passed no problem"....
Sorry for your headache but I'm guessing you won't pass emissions. Start looking into the DMV rules on getting an exemption. |
