In as much as I have bought three (2 sets of RE71R, 1 set of Yok A052) sets of tires this year, I have to wonder how you are still driving on your original set.

How do you like the A052 compared to the RE71?

You'll want to get new tires. There is a rule in the motorcycle community (at least in my motorcycle safety class) that you want to change out your tires every 2 years. Now, of course, they aren't probably made to the strength of a car/truck tire. This isn't without question to car tires shelf-life/Service-life. I wouldn't go more than 5 years personally.

Everything has a period where they just aren't as strong as they once were. The tires most likely can't withstand high heat and pressures that they were designed for new.

It seems like you don't put many miles on your M.

If that's the case, perhaps consider an aggressive rubber like RE-71R? It'll definitely feel like an upgrade and with the low miles you put on it, you'll likely get your next set of tires before it gets too noisy.
