Does anyone use an upgraded sway bar?
This seems like it used to be a popular upgrade but not so much anymore. I had the Dinan tubular bar on my last e92 M and I'm second guessing whether I want it again. The car is mostly street driven and has Ohlins R&T as well. I'm considering getting the H&R bar due to issues with dinan last time. Any advice or information is appreciated. Thank you!
Other suspension mods include: monoball spherical bushings on the control arms. |

What were your issues with the Dinan? End link adjustments?

I have the Dinan with Ohlins road and track. I'm not partial to it and Ive never played with the adjustments for under/oversteer. I think if I were going to do it again, I'd eBay an e93 m3 one, I believe it's 3mm bigger then stock e92. I do like how the Dinan comes with the bush and fat endlinks though.

Ok so our setup is similar. I remember when I had changed the settings from 10/10 to 13/13 it had a ton more grip but felt a lot more body roll. It took longer to change direction but would do so with more confidence mid corner. It took a bit of getting used to. I'm thinking that if I leave the stock bar and then go to the 10/10 setting I might achieve the best of both set ups; maybe better with camber plates.

Yeah that makes sense. I haven't tracked my car since I added the sway bar, so it'll be interesting to play with the setup a little. I added monoball FCAB's and a fixed camber plate too at the time. I decided I wouldn't use adjustable camber plates until I decided whether or not to Keep the Ohlins OEM style springs. So far, for the street, I love the setup. Steering feels fantastic.

I have the tubular Dinan bar awaiting install on my mostly-stock ZCP (camber pins removed, 255/275s). The softest setting is only 10% stiffer, IIRC, which is where I’ll start. The end links better fit.
FYI the E93 bar is only ~5% stiffer since it tapers down in the middle. |

I’m running the eibach rsb with spl endlinks on kw cs 2w. It’s very easy to make the oversteer coming out of corners in 2nd but also I’m running stock tire sizes.

Running Vorshlag plates, swift springs, ohlins with Hotchkis front sway bar and Turner endlinks. For at least the way I drive, it feels fantastic. Do it

Love it on softest setting with JRZ RS One suspension. Adjusted softer because I wanted to let the shocks do more of the work, and increase front end grip. Very balanced. Amazing mid corner grip.

You took off the springs that came on the Ohlins R&T and put on swift springs? I looked at the Hotchkis but thought that it might be too stiff.
