Lower front after installing Dinan springs?

So I've heard of people using E36 bump stops as well as shaving the mounts to achieve a lower stance on their E9X...

Can I use just the E36 bump stops on the front without shaving the mounts to lower the front just a hair?

Or do I have to shave the mounts to use the E36 bump stops?

And we're talking about E36 M3 bump stops, correct?

Using E36 bump stops and shaving the tophats does not result in lowering the cars ride height. They are used to regain lost shock travel after lowering the car.

You can use E36 bump stops with or without shaving down your E9x tophats.

Ah okay got it. And these would be E36 m3 bump stops, not the non-M ones, correct?

The Dinan Ride Quality and Supplemental Handling kit steady comes with shorter bump stops to regain lost suspension travel, so might just skip these anyway.

Any way to lower the front just a hair more otherwise?

Not without different springs or coilovers.

I'm sure the Dinan kit uses E36 bump stops.

Indeed I think you're right and that Dinan handling kit uses e36 bump stops.

How much harsher of a ride would Dinan Coilovers be?
