Nope. I've got 4 R1.

Perhaps you got the last 3 r1s? I know it said there were 3 left for a while, and I didn't want to have to find another one somewhere else at full price so I just went for the r1 that was still in stock.

You ordered 4 tires and received 3? that's not right. Assuming they are out of these tires i would return them if I was you.

I have mentioned in this thread that I was overcharged by $20 per tire, but before I even contacted them about this they emailed me the corrected invoice, apparently it was a mistake.
Did you guys check the production date on your tires?
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that 5 of my tiers were produced on 32/19 and 7 on 15/18

I received an email when mine were delivered yesterday that said "one or more of the items in this shipment might arrive separately."

Maybe the fourth is on its way all alone?

Nope - ordered 4. Both labels say 48 lbs, both tracking numbers said 48lbs. Laying on the floor of the porch was 1 of the 3 plastic straps that was binding two tires together (presumably, given that's how many are on the other pair).
Called Tire Rack. They said it's likely sitting on a UPS truck somewhere, orphaned. She seemed optimistic it would be tracked down, and if not they would send me a replacement. If so, that's the sort of customer service that would secure my business, although I fear they may not have 1 left.

If anyone is interested Tire Rack still has these tires, however now the price is $183.42.
That's how much they charged me by mistake.
Then realized that I placed an order before they increased the price.
Looks like after our forum members invasion somebody realized, wait a minute, we are selling this gold for pennies, look how many buyers coming in all of a sudden, lets increase the price lol...

I purchased and mounted a set of these intending to use them at an event in June and
my car is now sold and buyer wants street tires only so I'm dismounting these this week...
Anyone have any interest in my set of 285's? 3/4 of mine have 2019 Date Codes and one late-2018. Happy to ship, but will be buyer paid shipping. Figured I'd ask here before trying to sell locally.

Wide yes but sadly not nearly as fast as takeoff DHs.

I plan to run them on the e36 if it ever gets out of the shop! Running down an electrical problem now.

I would've thought the DHs might be a little faster but not scrubs with several heat cycles.

What hot pressures were you running with the R1Ss?

I think he is talking about regular R1, not R1S

I don't recall because it was a wile ago and they were the S but DH is still 3 seconds faster for me at Chuckwalla.

Forgot to give an update on this. My tires that arrived were an early 2018 production and sucked absolute ass at Laguna Seca. I got a set of Goodyear 3r to try at the next Laguna event since I had heard good things, got almost 2 seconds faster.

Don't have a time to compare to on slicks since my car was detuned for the race when on slicks, but these bfg felt like ice skates
