Epic weekend in Austin for Super Lap Battle. Ultimately I left time on the table, still need to sort out some things with the car and get it working better. Just getting to drive COTA was a fantastic experience. Can't wait to go back and get another shot at a good clean lap. Video isn't my fastest laps, but is the only video I got where I have video, audio, and data all together.

Damn. If you could just get the rear to bite on throttle a bit more...Everything else seems to be there.

Are your right wheels over the rumble strip at 8? I remember I figured that trick out and it made life a lot easier given the exit of 7 pitches you to the wrong side of the track for a traditional apex at 8.

Had to get out to HPR before dogbone goes out and totally destroys this laptime (tomorrow!) Got him by 0.12s, I have a feeling I will be making another trip to Colorado very soon and I will need to find a LOT more time than that by then, to try to keep up. It was fun having him out at the track hanging out, he was wise and chose to save his fresh tires for a better day... We didn't have a choice because we were trying to get ready for One Lap and the test time was super valuable.

Went out for some testing prior to One Lap of America 2021, and decided to throw the A7's on for a lap to see how much time the car has picked up since last October when I was here (without the supercharger.) Almost 3 seconds, with a couple big mistakes in this lap that kept me from clicking off that elusive 1:49.x - next time. Windy and 80 degrees when I ran this lap - some prime conditions will definitely help. Swapped a lot of suspension parts (springs, swaybar settings, damper settings), still wasn't happy with the car but it's improving. Found some more changes to make after this session which helped get the car dialed in a bit better on the Conti ECS that we will run for One Lap... And then found even more to change after we got back from the track that night. Nothing like heading out to the event with a totally untested setup, exactly what we were trying to avoid but here we are.

Audio is no bueno in the video between the typical high plains wind and windows down with no external mic. I'll try to do better next time! Thanks also to dogbone for letting me borrow his GoPro since I left both of mine at home and didn't realize it until we were at the track.

Went to High Plains Raceway today to give the new tires a shot. Weather was cool. Wind was a bit windy but not too bad. You can hear the wind in the intro walk by of the car. Was happy with the result. But there's more to improve. (I'll talk about the day more in my build thread.) I'm still having data issues, so the video doesn't have all the CAN data....so annoying.....

It’s like Chris predicted the future or something in this thread!
Where’s that crystal ball? I need it for this housing market! Haha

This was at 3:00pm, so 24’s were definitely possible with morning conditions and less traffic. Pretty crazy that this car can do that.

Thanks! Was a fun day out there.

I thought it would be awhile before I could return, but this evening I discovered that Pueblo has an SCCA TT coming up this weekend, and an open lapping day on Friday......hmmmmmmmm Trying to see if I can squeeze that in......Would love to turn some more laps there.

New Daytona TT3 track record in 2:02.41 (was 2:04.45 since 2015)

Hey Guys
Had a blast weekend with NASA FL in Daytona. 93F air and probably 105F in my car. Won both days in TT3 Time Trial and set new track record. There's still plenty of time on the table but it was my first time ever in Daytona though I did a couple hundred laps in PC2. Top speed only 151mph but car was very planted otherwise. The 31degree banking took me a couple laps to get used to lol...

Car: E92 M3 JPM
Tires: 315/30/18 A7 all around
Min weight with driver 3501lbs , actual weight 3527 lbs
Max hp rear axle 351hp
Enjoy!

2nd time at ACS (first time was 5 years ago..)
Went out to compete in Bimmer Challenge Round 6.
The car is still super loose and needs some setup tweaks for sure, but it's quick and worked well enough to secure 1st place.

Based on the data, there are at least 1.2 seconds of low-hanging fruit that I can improve on. Slowly inching toward the 154 goal that Kevin set for my car.

After struggling with the rain from two hurricanes for three straight track days, I finally had a sunny day to work with. Put on some good tires and went for it. I'm happy with the time but there's more time out there. Probably will not improve any further on this trip.

After struggling with the rain from two hurricanes for three straight track days, I finally had a sunny day to work with. Put on some good tires and went for it. I'm happy with the time but there's more time out there. Probably will not improve any further on this trip.

Excellent lap!
