Harrop Plenum Removal Tricks

Any Harrop our other intercooler SC drivers have tips for removing the plenum/SC without making the worlds biggest coolant mess?

My thought is to run the pump and drain from the reservoir?

Getting a recurring 2B0D combo MAP sensor fault. I replaced the primary O2s checked for exhaust leaks. The ICV only have about ~25k since it was changed under warranty at 15k miles. Probably replace the breather while I'm at it. Ideally I should test them both.

When I run the diagnostics live stream, the values on the ICV and breather come on / off of showing value. After the faults occur generally there both not showing any values.

I just leave the coolant lines connected and rotate the blower about 45° to the passenger side to access items below it. It's actually quite simple that way, but heavy and a bit awkward leaning over the front of the car. A little less work that way, but a lot less mess.
