Do the F8x front Calipers bolt up to E9x M3 rear hub and work with F8x rear rotors? Wondering they’d be a good rear solution when using something like SLONIK’s 6 pot fronts.

My guess is no that it wont fit. The f80 rear calipers mount up and fit e92 M3 rear hubs and the f80 rear disc which is 370mm

So the rear F8x calipers with the rear f8x rotors will work. Wonder how the piston area compares with the SLON workshop 6 pot brembo fronts and what kind of brake bias that would result in

Thats my current plan. I've got a full set of aftermarket f80 rotors, a Slon 6-piston front, and an F80 stock rear. I think it will work out close to stock F80 M3 ratios or slightly higher F:R (which is good for me).

Pozdrav tek sad vidio poruku. Ja sam m4 klista i kocnice stavljao na 1M / E92 M3 glavcinu nije bilo moguce stavit bez busenja glavcine a da bude sigurno za vozit. Rupe od glavcine i klista su doslovno jedna do druge u milimetar.

I would just get the M4 front spindles that fit the brake calipers and put it on the M3 e92 it will work cuz I've done it the spindle is the same thing the only difference is the caliper mount holes

So is anyone selling an adapter for the front calipers, or are M4 front knuckle/spindles required to get the front brakes to fit?

Thanks to Feur for this link:

I share joyful news for myself, as I managed to prikolhozit front brakes from the /// M3 F80 on his trash.
After it became clear that this braking system does not fit a little under the F30, I decided not to go the easy way and buy the Performance brake discs, but install the already purchased from the F80.
Why not fit can be read here

To implement this idea, I turned to SBakulin , there were a lot of positive reviews about the driver.
I described the situation to him and heard that he would not do anything. Thus, he lifted my spirits, because I thought that my idea had failed and threw money away in vain. In general, we went to the lift to take measurements (I stand as an amateur, only my eyes clapped) and see the amount of work.
It was decided to make 2 sets of bushings and shift the thread on the caliper. After that, SBakulin took my calipers and promised to do everything in 2 weeks.
It was a long 2 weeks, as I was worried that it would not work out or as it usually happens, that the specialists delay with time, and put it as desired.
But exactly after 2 weeks I heard that my calipers and bushes are ready and I flew straight away to take away.

Thread offset

Bushings
All the joy was already going to go to install, as had to uhat for work on a business trip for a month.

Another month of waiting and immediately the next day on arrival in Moscow called the guys from Turboworks and after dinner went to install.

Anthers brembo

I bought new original Brembo anthers in advance.
Time setting did not take much, SBakulin did everything competently, the brakes stood up perfectly you can say bolt on.

Mounting on bushings

So stood up
PS SBakulin really an excellent specialist and a good person, I recommend everyone who will put unusual options for brakes.

PS 2 Turboworks made quickly and accurately with attention to detail.

Definately investigating it, as I wont get the full use from a set of $8K BBK, and these ///M brakes with rotors are popping up slightly used for sale from ///M owners who're going to track day setups (or hard parkers like me who like the look of a BBK lol)

The F80 rotors are an improvement over the E9X ///M rotor setup and for $2K ish is a bargain BBK

I lol'd. Basically they offer it but reluctantly I guess.

A StopTech ST40 kit can be had for $2500 or less during a sale. Yes, $2000 is less than $2500, but the StopTech kit is purpose-built for this sort of thing. The M4's OEM setup is good but it isn't exactly top of its class for hard track use.

Go to a track day and look at the E92s -- most of them will be running StopTech kits.

Yup totally agree that a stoptech kit is a much better solution!

Like a lot of other guys in this thread, I'm allured to the low purchase prices of a slightly used F80 M4/M2 brake setup for my road car. I'd like to hit the track but realistically never take the time to do a track day (plus I'm too tall with a helmet on to fit without buying a recaro SPG XL) and the fact that the oem brakes calipers whilst work well for what they, they look horrible..

I managed to purchase this setup for around $1100 USD with a few thousand miles of road use before the owner fitted an AP racing BBK to his M2. This is basically the cost of a new set of OEM E9X rotors

Got em from melbs.

The seller was a total jerk, PeteY picked them up for me and is in the process of boxing them up and then I'll ship em up to NSW. I'm expecting it to be $100 or so due to the weight of those bloody massive rotors

Yeah no kidding. The calipers alone are worth that much on eBay.

Might be time for an aftermarket seat. They tend to sit much lower and use different rails that drop you even more.
