Mine's on order. Can't wait. Replacing my VF kit. I want the torque (and the whine).
Been dreaming about it since Mike gave me a ride...

I have every intention of purchasing this kit once my extended warranty is up.

I hope harrop knows there are people like me waiting on the sidelines for a couple of years before they pull the trigger.

Just had a customer ship his car all the way from Washington down to Los Angeles. We also had a local customer and friend stop by to check out his Harrop Supercharged Imola Red twin!

Needless to say, Imola Red looks stunning!

Does anybody know whether or not stage 2 is going to happen?
Is there anything from Harrop as far as keep the noise a bit more quiet?

They are working on stage 2. Highly doubt there's going to be quieter system.

In my opinion I f they could have made the existing one quieter they likely would have. But cross your fingers.

I would probably settle with a more quiet system than a stage II. Maybe I can find someone located close to my area that has one and will take me for a ride. I am judging the noise based on reviews and YouTube clips; very subjective.

I have to share another benefit of the Harrop I didn't think about before. A few years ago on a previous car, I had a deer jump on the hood of my car in the middle of the day in a residential area damn near totaling the car. Lots of them come out of the forests surrounding subdivisions dawn and dusk but it was surprising how it happened during the day. As soon as I was right up on the deer it was scared and jumped out of the bushes just as I was turning a corner. Killed her on the spot and did 12k worth of damage to a Nissan. Was going about 18 mph.

Yesterday evening I was driving down a road near a forest with the harrop. After a bunch of curves, I had a straight line of sight for about 1/3 a mile. As I turned the corner about three deer that were standing in the road jumped away as soon as they heard me even though they were in the high beams. I doubt I will ever hit a deer again as long as I drive this car ;-)

Assuming you are on stock exhaust so they heard your SC over the exhaust?

I do not have a stock exhaust. It's loud on its own but as I mentioned the harrop scared them off not the exhaust. In my car you lead with a whine and finish with a growl.

You certainly don't have a sleeper. It's a good feeling blowing off a vette or similar with them being caught by surprise and mind blown instead of them responding with you are super modified so no biggie loosing.

You definitely don't have a sleeper. It would be nice to catch someone off guard and have them mind blown rather than them dismissing your win because you obviously have something going on under the hood. You can't claim a victory even to a g35. And don't loose while sounding bad ass.

This kit has all I am looking for on a SC; OEM-like fitting, high quality materials, positive displacement, etc.. But the noise. If I could find the solution to this, it would be THE (Stage 2) kit for me.

This is not a kit for a sleeper car thats for sure. Its a kit that has the bite to back up the bark. You are either into that, or you are not. Choice is yours!

I was initially startled by the intake noise. Now I love it. Its what makes this kit different and fun. Its funny as most of the M3 enthusiasts have no problem putting a loud exhaust on but when induction noise comes up it scares people off.
