Another what would you pay: 2011 CPO E92 ZCP

I am going in for a test drive this week and I am curious as to what you guys would pay for this:

2011 Alpine White M3 Coupe
21,000 miles, CPO
Black Interior
M DCT
Competition Package
Technology Package
Heated seats
Premium sound
Premium Package
Etc.

They are asking $61,000, where do you think I can end up?

The website prices it at $65,000, but an initial email to the dealer says its priced at $61,000. I assume that there is still wiggle room there.

Keep in mind wholesale prices (yes some dealers offer this to the public) sell these in the high $30,000s.. If you want to waste another $30k on a markup then have at it. On top of the fact that the new F series M3 is on the horizon, these cars are going to take a dump just like the E46 M3 did. Just wait. I was at a dealer in Washington state and they had the E92 M3 2008-2010 wholesale prices started at $35k. This is no secret. I would not spend a dime over $45k for ANY E92 M3. Just not worth it, knowing what I know now and what you can get them for.

How would a member of the general public have access to these wholesale prices?

I do agree with what you say in regards to the next gen M3, but that is still at least a year away. I've found an 09 version of the same car (minus ZCP) for ~$50,000 - that might be a better option.

YOU WILL NOT SEE A 2011 in the 30's!!!

If that is the vin#

That car retailed for $74,025. I would say 58-60 would be a good price. See if they can get you a deal on a warranty. BUY THE BMW warranty and not aftermarket.

High $30K's??!?! Even wholesale?!? That is crazy depressing. I would think my 2011 AW E92 ZCP DTC with 5K miles would be around $65K - $68K (MSRP was $78+), or am I way off?

So I got the car in question down to $57,900 which I feel is a good deal. I left a deposit last night and should all things go according to plan I will be picking her up 1 week from today.

- I'll know today if my loan is approved at a reasonable rate - I was approve at 4.9% from BoA, but I'm trying credit unions to get lower

- I'll know Monday if the dealer will be able to have one of the curbed wheels fixed by Friday. I made it very clear that I wasn't picking it up with a curbed wheel

A buddy of mine has a wholesale license and has been searching for a e90 for me from Manhiem and OVE etc. I'm specifically looking for an '11 and we haven't seen any wholesale prices even close to the $30's except lemon law or salvage titles. Can you explain further or share some details about where/how to get that kind of pricing on an '11? Just sold my '07 M5 and am desperately looking for an M3, not that many sedans out there with comp package, nav and dsc. Didn't think it would take so long and I can't wait!!!

$30K Wholesale??? Highly Doubtful.. I bet you couldnt' even find a stripped down 2011 for under $50K. 2008's are selling in the high $30K's....

He is way off saying the 11 models are going for high 30's wholesale. I have access to wholesale information as well I can tell you only 2008 models and maybe some higher mileage/damaged 09's are going in the 30's.

2011 M3 Competition Package. Lemans blue metallic with black carbon interior. Fully loaded ( i mean everything)with moonroof. 1 owner. Only 7800 miles. $58500. I got it last week. I think the one with 21000 miles asking $61000 is a little high with that mileage. See if there was any repair done to it. I saw one similar to that in central jersey with same miles and price. Might be same car. The cars front drive unit was replaced because of a grinding noise, I passed on that and found the low miles one. Got the wheel and tire care and NU-Care also on day of pick up.
