Advice on Tpms
Hey guys
I just bought an extremely low mileage 08 e92 m3. Now it's time to upgrade wheels. I understand the 08 tpms is a simpler version and it's cheaper. I bought a used set of wheels that has the newer tpms. Will the newer TPMS work with the older 08-09 setup? |

It will not.
You have a few options: 1. Move to older TPMS. 2. Delete TPMS and do coding to turn it off. 3. Delete TPMS and setup FTM (flat tire monitor) which uses the speed sensors to detect a flat. This is the older method from the 2006-2007 models as well as Euro models.

They will not work. Buy a set of OEM Huf/Beru sensors since yours are 11 years old anyway. Better that then mid summer unmounting tires and having your car down for half a day to swap them then

You can get 100-120 for the TPMS on the forums if they are in good working condition.
