Thanks! All still a work in progress.

Seems the base model radio has a weird buzz - anyone else have this issue and have a fix? (outside of replacing the head unit?)

Will find out soon enough. Torco believes it can do 10k on oil with 5k filter changes. I will change filter at 5k and drive to 7k or so and do an oil test.

dmitriyo I just noticed the pics show red springs installed on your suspension. I don't believe Eibach made red springs for our cars and it might be H&R springs instead. I could be wrong but every Eibach spring I've seen is black.

Car looks wonderful btw

Ah I see! Thanks for the clarification. No matter though - All will be ripped out anyway.

Well after some damage the car went through a front end overhaul. Discovered that these cars come with a carbon fiber crash beam too! Either way - this was a good opportunity to update the cooling system with the full suite of CSF performance goodies.

Fit and finish was great and install was rather easy, especially when rebuilding the whole front end. Will report back when the car has hit the track and see how the temps are managed.

Also took the opportunity to get the side markers deleted on the new bumper. Really cleans up the front end.

The side grills are already gloss black, as are the kidney grills. Gloss Black hood vents are inbound from IND. Im working on a metal roundel design that will borrow from the vintage pieces and also be minimal and clean.

Great stuff. Love the build concept. I am curious what you have in mind for weight reduction. CF roof? Bucket seats? Battery?

All those will be done eventually! Id like to focus on doing the CF roof sooner than later as well as seats. Battery will be due for an update soon and will get updated with something light (maybe a Liteblox, as that seems to be built right compared to most on market)

Exhaust will be a weight reduction effort as well and might delete the audio system in a way to make it seem like the car never came with it (as far as center console is concerned) Its glitching out anyway as Ive got some serious noise/interference in the rear speaker for no reason.

Milestone Update soon:

MCS 2WNR Shocks en route with Swift Springs and Ground Control Camber plates, rear spring adjusters. Bimmerworld solid diff, subframe mounts with monoballs for rear suspension and adjustable drop links!

Already refreshed front suspension with monoball FCABs (which I need to now swap to a different type due to excessive noise)...

Hopefully all coming together this weekend.

Front is 504lbs, with 168lbs helper and rear is 784.

Should be a good balance between compliance and support.
