Bought an M4 and don't drive my M3 enough to warrant keeping it. Looking to sell it for a fair price to someone who will appreciate it. I apologize in advance for the long post. I will take and add pictures this weekend.

Specs:

- Model Year 2005
- 113xxx miles(Will not go up. Car is in my garage and gets driven ~1-2 times a month)
- Jet Black
- Black Leather
- 6 speed
- Sunroof
- Heated Seats

-------------------------------------------

History of the Car:

I purchased the car from Enthusiast Auto Group(EAG) in May of 2012 with 57k miles. For those of you unfamiliar with EAG, they are infamous on the BMW forums for snatching up low mileage and/or rare ///M model BMWs and then bringing them back to nearly showroom condition to be sold on for a profit. Well I had decided I wanted an e46 and while in Cincinnati on business I made the mistake of stopping by for a test drive and was like a kid in a candy store while walking around the lot. Drove a few e46 m3s they had in stock and picked out the cream of the crop. 3 Weeks later my father and I flew back to Cincy and drove it home to Missouri with huge smiles on our faces the entire way.

I have put about 8,500 miles on the car a year since then(had a winter beater for Nov-Feb) and I work as an engineer at a manufacturing plant out in the middle of no where so most of the miles are country highway so there is minimal wear and tear associated with stop and go traffic.

I have done my best to keep up with the recommended maintenance and am a mechanical engineer by degree/profession who works in manufacturing reliability so I am big on inspecting and replacing parts before serious issues happen.

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

-------------------------------------------

Upgrades:

- ZCP Wheels(OEM 19”) w/ new tires
- BMW Performance(ZHP) weighted shift knob
- Short Shift kit
- AR20 Anti Rasp Pipe
- K&N Performance Air Filter

-------------------------------------------

Maintenance:

- I have a whole binder of what has been done but ill hit the highlights starting from most recent
- New tires w/ balance on all 4 corners – 112k
- Oil change- 112k
- VANOS hub inspection – 105k
- Rear Subframe inspection – 105k
- Cooling System refresh(Water Pump, Radiator, hoses, fluid, sensors)- 105k
- Valve Adjustment- 95k
- Spark Plugs- 95k
- Diff Fluid- Have to check date
- Transmission Fluid- Have to check date
- Replaced C pillar trim(Both sides) for fabric peeling

-------------------------------------------

Extras(Included with sale):

- Replacement rear quarter rubber trim both sides
- Replacement A Pillar Trim(Both sides)
- Touch up paint w/ clear coat
- OEM Shift knob and boot(Good condition)
- OEM 18” wheels w/ blizzaks
- Valve shim kit w/ tool($$$)
- 32mm fan wrench w/ water pump bolt holder
- OEM parts from cooling system refresh
- May have a few other odds and ends around that I can send with

-------------------------------------------

The Bad:

- A few door dings, rock chips, small scratches, etc from the car having 113k on it. Nothing too terrible but its not 100% clean and I want to be honest
- Crack in front foglight(Need to replace lens)
- Chip in side reflector
- Rear quarter window rubber trim is getting dried out(No leaks and I will include replacements)
- Small leak in valve cover gasket. Smells a small amount like burning oil when starting after its sat for a while(I may fix this weekend)
- Tires are a softer compound that tend to flat spot a bit when not daily driven. I only noticed this when I have driven the car after getting my M4 as my DD. It goes away once the tires warm up after a few miles on the highway.
