Reminds me when I had my first ever new car a VW Beatle ... we moved and I took out the rear seats and the passenger seat ... then moved my then bulky 1965 24" Colour TV ... got quite a few laughs and smiles on the red lights

Mind you the joke might have lost some of its meaning in my translation from German to English, still your 4 skiny girls reminded me

I loaded once a 14'X 14' feet piece of a carpet in my MK II GTI. don't ask me how I did it, but I did. Drove 2 hours and delivered it to a client. He was surprised when the client saw me. He thought I was joking with him that the rug was in the back.

Yup. That was me, two Christmas'; 2008 and 2009. I also brought home a 55 inch TV in the back of that car, an 8' ladder and my Trek sl5200 in the current car as well as one Christmas tree, obviously at different times.

Turned some nice laps at Watkins Glen, too. Pretty good utility.

E46 m3 is a lot narrower in the back. Just recently my friend and I tried putting his 60 inch in his 03 m3 and it wouldnt fit so we tried my car and it fit fine with the seats folded down. Just had to support it a lot underneath.

I can visualize it ... you put the backrest of the passenger seat all the way forward, put the backrests of the rear seats down then slipped it all the way in in an angle with about a foot or so sticking out of your trunk

I've done similar stuff in my 2004 jag

Last month, I'm driving with a friend when she spies a furniture store closing sign...and finds a Queen-sized headboard at a fantastic price....gotta have it prior to closing time; no time to find a friend with a pick-up truck.

So....

It's either a picture of a good sale item, or a picture of my new E93 M Spoiler.

Amazing what you can get inside a cabriolet....
