Ye, that does seem like a lot. I paid $400

Cool idea. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying Brembos which most people buy for the cool color and not necessary unless they are on a track.

They should've came painted from the factory.

I like it. Wouldn't it be easier to just disconnect the brake lines?

Agreed. I still don't understand the brake upgrades unless your serious about track. I think its one of them most useless mods to do on an m3 if your just a street cruiser. Painting them makes way more sense.

I think it will look nice. Wanna see it with the wheels/tires back on the car though. I thought about painting my calipers red. After seeing this I might have to talk to my body shop...

Nice prep/masking work for sure. However, that being said, painting a caliper when on car, let alone when assembled with pistons/seals/etc. is one GIGANTIC HACK.

I agree with swamp on this detail. It looks like it turned out pretty good though. White is original and looks nice. Yellow or silver would look good on AW as well. I'm tired of seeing red ones mainly because they are so common.

Look goods.. i was thinking yellow for mine...but will have to reconsider now... might follow suite with white. I have the stock gunmetal 18s so the white will def stand out without throwing off the color scheme too much.
