color of daytime running lights

On my M3 my daytime running lights color is the orange hue. How come on some of the other 3 serious cars i see the white hue color has any one noticed this.

Because the M3 didn't get LED angel eyes like the other 3 series cars.

Like those who think that M3s with white angel eyes have an OEM modification...

Heh, indeed. Conversely, people on this type of forum know WAY TOO MUCH about the car we drive. Not that that's necessarily bad. The collective amount of info/knowledge here is simply amazing.

That was no doubt the reason since for the M3, it would require a redesigned hood, front fascia and possibly front fenders. Since the M3 is a low volume car in the 3 series lineup, BMW decided to save the expense.

I wish they would just stick something like lux or hids in there from the factory though

Really??? You'd need a new hood and fenders?

I'm pretty sure you can design a headlight with LED any shape you want. You don't have to use a headlight from a different car

No, because the other 3's from the pre-LED days can have them too. All you can tell is that it's probably not a newer 3.

Maybe having one on the side for daily driving duties. Hmm, enticing.
Honestly for me, I like that it's a fast DD instead of a proper sports car

cause if I wanted a firm, not so practical sports car, I'd get a Porsche

I love the Cayman, but i need the rear seats

I plan on having a Porsche again soon... but only if i have another car with 4 seats

Probably go back to incandescent bulbs.
