Having a strange electrical issue with the car need help

I have been having a random issue with my M3, when driving the dash board will light up with every failure starts with ABS, then misfires, and then eventually the car doesn't have enough electrical to keep running and stalls out. At that point the car will not re-start, which requires a jump start to get it running.

When you then check the battery it shows full charge and I have had the electrical system checked, alternator is putting out the correct amperage and the battery is charging. So even though the car has a full battery it won't start the car.

I have had it at a shop trying to diagnose it, and all systems are checking off fine. It leaves you stranded until you can get a jump start. It is hard to say it is the battery when I am not getting a battery warning light or showing any issues with battery charge level. The alternator is also putting out the right voltage....Idea's?

The battery is 4 years old, was thinking of replacing it but I am not sure it will solve my problem.

Have you tried to trickle charge the battery to make sure its really fully charged. I good trickle charger like CTEK might be a good investment.

Yes it trickle charges when not being driven. BMW just told me it is the alternator. It is a 2008 with 90k miles on the original. I guess it was time.
