hi all...looking to buy a broken EPS amp to attempt a a DIY repair and share my findings with the community.

needs to be 'newer gen' model. Separate 12v/GND connector separate from the high-level speaker out harness. I know it's comparable and I could review it but I'm shooting for a plug and play repair, or at least the closest to that...

My amp recently died and although I was already researching and learning about general audio amplifier repair the noise/static coming through the speakers was bothering so much that I caved and paid for professional repair. The other reason I caved was I'm not certain my newbie repair skills would work and so I was risking damaging my amp even more and/or possibly beyond repairable state.

The intent is to document and share as much as possible the part numbers, pictures, audio repair knowledge etc and ultimately write up a DIY guide that hopefully any owner in the same boat as I was can follow and repair their unit.
