Alcantara Boots - Where FS?

Looking to buy alcantara boots with M stitching for my DCT and e-brake. Does anybody sell these already attached to the trim besides for iND? iND wants $1K for the pair which is hilarious. Coby has the boots for a fair price, but not the trim. I’m not interested in mounting the boots to the trim myself. Thanks,

I've only known IND to sell these items with quality in kind. They take stock parts and mod them with new stitching and leather. I've seen some knock offs on EBay, but you may get what you pay for there. IND makes some quality stuff which is why you pay more. Sometimes there are peeps on here that sell these used parts at a discount.

Crazy expensive.

I did an entire customer interior and wouldn’t buy them.

^ The iNDs? I’m sure they’re nice, just not worth $1K to me.
Many do a good job with the boots - it’s not rocket science - just finding them ready to install is tougher. I’ll continue to dig and report back.

Coby might have the trim if you ask him. Also some perfect trim pieces are available on eBay. You can send them to Coby and he'll mount them with your order.

I asked, Coby doesn’t have. That link is for a manual but I’ll look for a DCT piece as an option.

LeatherZ no longer lists it, but I’ve asked if they’d do a small group buy. Let me know if anybody else is interested.

I’m also scoping it out with Mashimarho.

Coby did my DCT knob and boot as 1pc. With matching ebrake handle and boot as well.

Can you post some pictures?
I think I'd like to keep the knob and handle original, and just replace the boots, but open to options. Thanks!

Does Coby have a website or IG page or anything to see lots of examples of the work?

Correct, we take brand new OEM parts to have the custom work done on.

Just bought mine today, DCT Alcantara boot, and e-brake Alcantara boot both with 3 color M stitching under $100.

Butt... you do have to attach them.

Curious, can we request specific stitching color, or is it restricted to the red/blue?

Is there a DIY?
I can never get the damn e-brake off no matter how hard I pull.

Remove the base first and then twist back and forth as you pull on the handle to loosen it.

Am able to do this, but the material is closer to black rather than 9002(gray). If this isnt a make it break it, any stitching color can be done, and comes with the original OEM brackets. Plug & play- just message me.

The M Performance steering wheels are more black anyways. I've order some Alcantara samples and it's 100% not 9002. My wheel matches a sample I have called Slate Black.

I think the 9002 gray is from the E46 days, but the E9x MPW doesn't seem like a jet black, either. PITA!

Also, thumbs up for Mark (BimmerSource) above. While his alcantara wasn't a perfect match for my wheel, he did offer great communication, photos, and pricing (and product - with the brackets/rings!). If I didn't have the wheel already, I would have bought from him.

I ordered 5 Alcantara samples from Relicate in different shades of black/dark gray and the closest for me to the M performance parts was called Slate Black. It was the "lightest" of the blacks I received. The other two were definitely more pure black.

Sweidit did my interior. He did a steering wheel for me before too. He's gonna do my boot as well. Why don't you just send him your trim and he'll do whatever you want including laser etching if you want lol.

A friend of mine had him recently do a steering wheel for his Civic Type-R and he was very very happy with the work. I had actually thought about reaching out to him about a steering wheel, just hadn't yet.
