Changes for 2010-2011 e90/e92 m3 ?
My 2009 e92 m3 is a 2 year lease, and I only have about a year left on it, and I was just wondering what changes to expect for 2011, as I will most likely be getting another m3 w/ a manual transmission tho. This question may have come up in another thread, but i didn't get to looking around. Thanks on any insight.

And vice-versa too, based on posts I've seen around here in the past.
OP, look for the E92/E93 LCI in March of next year, if rumors pan out. Just how much the M3 will be effected by this is not yet known. If history is a good indicator in this case, changes will be only to the rear of the car. However, it is also possible that headlights (not shape, but internals) could change as well. |

I hear they plan on making the M3 a 4.0 twin turbo

i doubt BMW will make any major changes to the car in the same generation, nothing as radical as introducing a new engine, that's for damn sure. maybe different taillights, or a few cosmetic touches here and there, bug fixes but that's about it.

i believe this is true for the next gen m3's, except it will be a v6 not v8. i've heard that the e90/e92/e93 m3's will be the first and only generation produced with a v8.

Yup. I think it's the perfect balance of meaty power and a supremely athletic engine. |

I wish they were coming out with more colors. 3 shades of blue, 2 of which almost look the same?
