Does ITG make a filter for us? Or are you running a different intake elbow?

What did you go with? I'm eyeing TS-7's, 10.5 or 10 square with 275/35/18.

What tires and spacers are you planning on running? Edit: was browsing on my phone. Had to zoom to see the wheel model. Nice! Exact setup and color I've been looking at, such a clean wheel, strong, light, affordable, hard to go wrong.

I'm actually most excited to put a set of good wet tires on my 18x10. I've been running my original track tires on square 219m in the rain (RS4), and after a bajillion heat cycles they are, of course, terrible in the wet. They make AR1 seem like a full wet tire. But, they've been my street beaters and wets since I only had those two sets of wheels. I will keep them forever. Maybe try drifting next off season to see if it's even possible to wear them out once they heat cycle out.

Goodyear SC3R mounted and looking forward to seeing how they compare. Hoping Goodyear have a little better tire life than the Yoko. |

I've heard the SC3R are fast but also fall off a lot. 6-8 HC

Been loving SC3R's, grippiest tire I've tried with the exception of Pirelli DH scrubs. Faster than Cup 2's and re-71r's for sure. Planning to try Yoko A052's next to add to my tire knowledge. Haven't tried Hoosiers yet but they are on the list to try at some point.

SC3R is fast. Should be above the top 200tw but not quite Hoosier/Pirelli Scrub levels of grip. Definitely the best choice of the streetable non-200tw options. There are lots of fans of them out there in the Camaro community like Dan said

general consensus is the sc3r's are nearly as quick as hoosier r7's but last longer. i'm hoping to jump on the bandwagon soon to compare to the nt01's and ar1's i've ran recently.

Weird question, not sure if anyone would know. I had my oem muffler mod done and it sounds theres some loose bits in there? I'm guessing probably some weld splatter but maybe I'm crazy and the muffler sounded like that before?

NT01 is about as fast as all of the faster tires once they've heat cycled out but at least they're consistent and somewhat long lasting.

I don't get the hype of the NT01. If you're running that tire, you may as well just use an RR or whatever. It's an old tire that appears to be a cash cow for Nitto. The newer generation of "200TW" tires are the same price or cheaper, last just as long, and actually have some semblance of wet traction.

NT01's at full depth are fine in the wet, if that's a concern then the RR shouldn't be a consideration as they are unsurprisingly worse. The RR's are okay in damp conditions but as soon as it approaching standing water they can get sketchy - good car control practice though.. Besides takeoffs, NT01's are still the king for a reasonable priced, reasonably fast and durable lapping tire. |
