My mechanic and the machine shop handled it but yes I think they did. A machine shop can do that easily when they are cutting the shafts to length.

Interestingly, it seems to make a bit of a whiney noise kind of like a supercharger when the fluid level is that low. But it works!

Possibly look into the DO88 Power steering add on - you are DCT or 6spd I forget?

Thanks!
BW reservoir and do88 PS cooler is a very solid solution

I still like the little BMW Motoradd brake reservior trick that Kaiv found out. It clearly is showing some fluid going up it in the tank!

FWIW, I also punctured the black cap of the little reservoir to allow venting.

This isn't mentioned enough - everyone using this solution needs to ensure the reservoir is vented. Mine wasn't, and it was causing a whining noise for a brief time from the pump after the PS fluid cooled down and created a vacuum in the reservoir. Heated up a small screwdriver and poked a hole through the cap, and no more problems.

Big difference from OEM seats, often wanting more lateral support - but old man back needs recline feature

I didn't have my GoPro mount with me at the Ridge on Saturday, but a Hellcat in my run group chased me for a few laps.

What a difference 300hp makes on the straights...

I like this solution as well. Although I used a cheap one from Amazon. Checked it after each session and I had some fluid residue in mine so clearly it's working. The angle of the reservoir inlet worked perfectly for the car.

I haven't spent enough time in the OE seats but I do have Sportsters and I can tell you for a fact they do NOT replace a bucket seat. For giggles I tossed one of my old Pole Positions in the car and it's a big difference in how well it really holds you. I intend to keep the Sporsters for regular use and only use the bucket for very intentional purposes.

The Sportster GT is not a racing seat, it's a sporty street seat. Fine for occasional track days and more bolstering than OEM, but nowhere near the "locked in" feel a true one-piece bucket has.

Yea 150 T1 is nice. But you can definitely push harder at The Ridge witbout consequence, and sliding is fun too.

I miss going to the Ridge. Doesn't look like the border will open up this year either.

After covid, you should come up to Area27. You'll like it.

I was planning to head up with Turn2 last summer. It looks like a beautiful track. "After covid", man what a phrase it's become.
