FS: SSR GT2 19x10 with Hoosier R6 slicks! 1300 FREE SHIPPING!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale is my set of track wheels and tires.

The wheels are SSR GT2 19x10. The front wheels are +29 offset and the rears are +25 offset.

The wheels are in great shape for 'track wheels' and have NO curb rash on them. The only marks are where the impact gun/sock scores the inside of the wheel bolt 'holes' All the wheels are straight and true-

The tires are Hoosier R6 265/35/19 tires on all 4 wheels. The rear tires are in great shape and have lots of life left in them. The 2 front tires are pretty much used up and one of them is starting to show cord.

These wheels and tires are very light. Both wheel and tire combined weigh 44lbs! That is a very significant savings even over the already amazing OEM 19s-

I just have no use for these so I figure i would make some money and clear the garage

Price 1300 shipped to USA- 1200 dollars picked up in north Atlanta!
Canada and other countries, I will pay 100 dollars towards the shipping cost to you.

If you plan to pay by paypal, please include 3%

What you get- 4 wheels, 4 tires and one free smile.

pictures!

The front left was starting to cord on the inside-

Easy Questions:
- Does this set fit all stock brakes and suspension?
- Are/were you running the EDC system, or standard suspension?
- Are/were you running more negative camber/plates?

Yes, fits all stock brakes with HUGE room for larger caliper clearance. You can drive a bus through void between back of the wheel and the caliper

Yes, I have the EDC option-

Yes, I have RD sport springs running -1.8* camber in front and -2.0* camber in the rear. I obtained this much negative camber by removing the small pins in the strut tops. With pins left in, most negative camber you can get is in the -1.3 to -1.4* front

On a side note, you can add a 5mm spacer in the rear to really make the back wheels flush- The fronts are perfect!

I have sent you at least 2 PM's about the issue with these rims and I have patiently waited for the holidays to be over. This is the only way I can get you to answer me. Answer your PM's and make this right.

Surprise surprise...John@BMW not responding to PM's or e-mails Remember these? http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318273 Over 2 months and no news. Probably a good thing I didn't buy them either because it seems like he's a shady seller not only due of his unresponsiveness, but also his dishonesty. HUGE thumbs down to John and UUC Motorwerks Do the right thing and PM Don back.

Please answer your PM's. I am tired of having to post on here for you to answer my PM's. I have found someone to buy these rims off of me. Please send me the centering rings and let's get this over with.

You have left me with no choice but to make this a public matter. I will give you until tonight to answer me. I cannot believe that a person that works for a major aftermarket company can treat a customer or fellow board member this way.

Amazingly I have been patiently waiting for a reply and still nothing. I am out of town for work until tomorrow. When I get back I will post pictures of where the wheels rub on a car with stock shocks and H&R springs. I will also disclose the "other facts" about these wheels that were not disclosed to me prior to purchase.

Thumbs down

So still no word from John@BMW. He still posts on here and he is still checking the boards. I have given you ample time for you to make this right but you ignore me.

I bought these rims from John after reading his advertisement. He said that the offsets were front ET29 and rear ET25. He also stated that these would fit on a car with springs and OEM shocks. When I got the rims I noticed that two hubcentric rings were missing. I PM'ed saying that I never received them. He said he does not have them and he is sure they were shipped. He said that they might have fallen out of the packaging. I am 100% positive these did not fall out of the packaging considering how much tape was used. He said he would send me some rings. As of today I have yet to see such rings. I tried the rims on my car which is running KW Clubsports. They did not fit as they hit the shock. I was surprised that they didn't fit but I was not mad because he advertised them as fitting on stock shocks. One of my friends loved the rims and said he would buy them. I took the rims to his house and began to try them on his car which was on H&R springs and stock shocks. Before we began we both noticed that the ET was 25 all the way around. I PM'ed John to ask him why was this the case. He said the offsets were MILLED from 25 to 29. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN THE ADVERTISEMENT. If this was disclosed then I would not have bought them. So we tried them on my friends car. They do not fit like he stated and they rub against the shock. I have PM'ed him and I was willing to give him pictures but he has now decided to ignore me. I am posting up the picture here and you tell me if this fits or not. Now I am stuck with wheels that do not fit my car or a stock car. I am stuck with wheels that have MILLED offsets. DO NOT BUY FROM JOHN@BMW.

John@BMW really needs to be a man and handle this situation like one. It's his responsibility to take care of a case like this, especially since what he sold was far from what was advertised. It's beyond me how someone could be so low, especially when he's representing a vendor in UUC. I had a poor experience with him as well, and all I can say is that John@BMW is DISHONEST and BUYER BEWARE

Someone that works at UUC should have def done something about this, because granted it was a private sale, but I am sure it doesn't help that he works there. Can the person who purchased the wheels chime in on if this has been cleared up?

John,

I have given you over two months to give me the money that you offered to me in March. You said you would refund me after you received your tax return. I have PM'ed you without a response again. Why even offer me a refund when you cannot even back it up? You said you have found centering rings for the rims. Please send them to me so I can at least do something with these pieces of shit that you sold me. I know you are still on this board lurking so please do not avoid this post.

I would still be willing to purchase the wheels if you'd like to get rid of them and split the tires.

I mean, I'm not sure who John is but UUC has always treated me well, and as I've indicated, if you are really trying to get rid of these wheels, let me know. Thanks!
