Social Distancing in the garage, My friend that I sold our E90 M3 to bought me a set of Eibach Pro lowering springs for our E93, H said he couldn't pass up the price, But was super disappointed they didn't have the same deal for his E90...

Anyhow, I finally got around to installing them, Took me about 4 hours, I also had to make a tool run for spring compressors.

I know its not a huge change, But they should settle in a little more.

Yeah that's so frustrating... Did you have to get towed? Surprised it didn't damage the bumper. Did you replace with OEM or aftermarket?

I'm strongly considering some black mesh replacement for the D088 oil cooler I have for the track. Hopefully to be installed in the coming weeks.

No damage to the bumper amazingly, it put a thin gouge in the coil 2 exits from home so I didn't tow it or stop to look. Paid $100 to get it "fixed" the repair shop said they pressure tested to 30psi I said well it runs at 80psi they said should be fine. Lasted 6 weeks before I noticed a drip. It was a CSF on it so I Replaced with a CSF again. I tossed the old original one years a go cuz it wasn't in good shape and my cars an 08 which has a different oil line configuration so the lines have been updated on it already. Oh well always something.

Been giving this consideration. The $77 clearance price is incredible. Let me know your impressions after a couple of drives.

The Eibach pro is a good drop. I had them before I changed to coil overs. Car had a great stance, the only thing I could say is it took away from the function of the EDC, almost felt like you couldn't tell a difference between the stages.

I'll do my best, I drove it a couple miles and I like it so far, But we have such poor roads here in Salt Lake, It may take a few weeks to get a good idea of whether I like it or not.

But Like I mentioned, It was free to me, So I can't complain.

I don't have EDC, So for me its not an issue, I did have it on our E90 and liked it.

Figured I would just order them while they are still in stock and deep discounted through Eibach. $78 and a little garage time, definately worth a shot.

Dropped her off for open heart surgery! (Rod bearings)

Only has 46k miles on it and has run beautifully but I would never forgive myself if something happened to that motor.. Plus everyone is sitting around anyhow, might as well have the work done!

Looked into it a couple years ago, but the reviews were between "it blew something electrical and now my sunroof wont open" and "worked perfectly and it's awesome".
I've had it for a little over a year. It definitely does really well in "blending in" and looking very oem, but in terms of the dash cam functionality, it is definitely subpar. It records sometimes and doesn't other times, which is a huge manufacturer defect. I've contacted them to get this addressed, and they offered to take it in to "take a look", but I would have to cover shipping (which was 1/4 of the cost of the product), didn't find that worth it. The tabs are also very easy to break when installing/uninstalling. I'm most likely going to toss it in the bin whenever I buy a BlackVue.

Just posted my bearings in the condition thread. About what I expected for the mileage. I plan on having this car for quite some time so it's good knowing they're done. Let me know what you think.

So I had gotten my car paint corrected and coated last week. Car looks mostly good but touch up paint on the hood really stands out now. Not sure if there was a better way to handle the touch up paint. Other than that the car looks stunning. OEM painted mirrors on the car right now but might go back to CF. Will do a comparison post at some point.

Unfortunately after I went for a drive and took photos I parked the car in a parking garage so it wouldn't get rained on and it would stay nice and clean for a while but fate did not smile on me. I happened to park in the ONE spot where there was a crack in the ceiling and all of this nasty mineral garbage water poured out of the concrete above and all over the passenger rear roof, door, fender, and some on the passenger door. FML. In a panic I tried to use some ONR to wipe it off when I discovered it but it was too late and I don't think the new coating liked it either. So yeah, I know in the scope of life it's not a huge deal, but super disappointing to have the one thing I was trying to avoid happen, happen basically the day after I got the car back.

In other POSITIVE related news I got the Eventuri Carbon Fiber Plenum delivered today! Also red start button and matte black M3 emblem all thanks to Ryan@IND. IND really does know how to wrap up a CF part like it's a mummy....

Not sure when the parts will get installed. I have to research how to get the Plenum off and the new one on. I think Karbonius has more cool factor and some performance gains but I wasn't sure when I would be able to buy one because they don't make them all the time, was a bit worried about fitment, and the Eventuri was cheaper, but you don't get the elbow and intake. Unsure if I a smog guy will let me pass visual with either one, but figured with Eventuri if they ask questions I can say something like "Should match OEM specs, you can look it up". Probably have to put some black tape over the Eventuri logo though.

Added more titanium... lower air box hardware. Now it matches my Karbonius lid hardware.
