I broke it on Sunday coming down the corkscrew at Laguna Seca on the third lap of the day. The rear right upper guide rod bolt snapped and the rod chewed up the exterior right cv boot on the half shaft. Luckily it didn't crash the car. It was the 2nd track day of the weekend. Sucks it happened so early in the day and in complete transparency it is a bolt I have had off the car before and didn't replace. So lesson learned. Replace your suspension hardware every time you take it to pieces.

Looks like a bending fatigue failure. Sounds funny, but under torqued fasteners can make this worse.

Yes agree, also that corner of the car takes a lot of abuse coming over t5 bypass at thunderhill which I frequent.

I removed the carbon trim to sell as that's money that can go to my second oil cooler project.

Bought some walnut trim and wrapped it in "M Hurricane" fabric. It's only the two dash pieces as the rest were stripped a while back.

I think it's pretty rad!

That is pretty badass!! They had some really cool fabrics back in the day, my favorite was the ///M "Rain". Very cool!!

She be thirsty...

Well, was surprised a little by the nice weather today, getting over 70, so figured that was all the excuse I needed to uncover the old girl and take her for a spin. Of course, this required a stop at her favorite place....

That was the original plan, but it's too subtle of a design when laid out horizontally on the trim.

I'm pretty happy with the results and it'll be unique at the track.

Haha, watching only until the train departs for the North Pole in a couple minutes. And yeah people are friggin ridiculous. Wouldn't be surprised to see a scuff in tomorrow's wash

They went in without any fuss, took me a couple hours while taking my time. No explosions yet!

Hahaha, yeah true dat. She is far from garage queen status too. Sure it's like that in any parking lot, just struck me as odd that there's all this space and people literally breathing on it.

Installed my new RKP Sport X pipe today. Running it with stock exhaust. The volume increase is noticeable to me.

No CEL yet; but I'm sure it coming. Doesn't matter because I just received my Tuning cable from BPM today. Will be installing the stage 2 tune soon.

Installed a set of LUX H8 Gold angel eyes. I like this look, something different than the usual white. Got them before they raised the price.

I installed this Blackvue Camera today with LTE. The selling point for me is the live view and uploads to the cloud. I can look at my cameras at any time. I can also talk and hear through the camera like a Ring doorbell. With both front and rear cameras the battery will last about 20 hours. I was coming from a THINKWARE F800 witch I will put in my daily.
