I just mounted my set two weeks ago and discovered that the bead that BBS uses is VERY aggressive, making it challenging to fully seat the tire (PS4S). I've heard from a couple friends that they set the tire mounting machine to 80-90psi to get the tires to seat fully and deflate from there. I'm wondering if anyone has had similar experiences?
I'm still losing about 2psi per day from my front left. Heading back to the shop next week to try again. They do look sexy though.

Car looks great.
Wondering what brand front splitter that is. I have a carbon one that damages easily. Thanks, Chet

Its not the BBS bead so much as just making sure both the tire and the rim are very well lubed up before inflating.
Spray the valve stem with soapy water to see if thats the cause of the leak. |

We sprayed soapy water on both sides. We could see bubbles between tire and the rim. We fixed those and remounted the tire, but there must still be smaller leaks that are very hard to see. We'll likely dunk it next time.

There might be more at play here, did you get them new?

Yes, brand new. I don't think the wheels themselves have issues.

Yup! Shop had to remount 2 of 4 PS4S on mine with lube and higher pressure (70?) to get them to seat...no leakage after getting them to "pop".

If your seal is leaking, it's bound to be time to be re-sealed. The way E88 wheels are designed, they're made to be reassembled and ready for re-seal pretty spontaniously- versus traditional 3 piece or other 2 piece wheels since these are motorsport wheels.
Did you buy new? The E88s I have had I just had re-done as soon as I bought them off a third party on my E92 M3.
