Brilliant White and ESS Supercharger... Teaser

Well as some of you are aware I have been working with ESS to be one of their first U.S. customers for the new E9x M3 Supercharger. This past week Goodspeed Performance Lab installed the production ESS E9x M3 Supercharger on my E90 M3.

Here is a short summary. A full post to follow in the next few days.

My first impressions put a grin on my face ear to ear! I was more than impressed and love the added power that is available whenever I want it. The lower RPM's really launch the car, but the SC really comes alive when it hits 5,000rpms and then it just climbs from there. It begs you to keep pushing to the redline. The power is amazing and whats just as impressive is the kit's standard software to make the SC work with the DCT. The DCT is even more smooth than compared to stock. In normal traffic in auto mode it shifts effortlessly and acts just like the stock M3 only it shifts smoother. In manual mode the car pounds you into the seat with each pull of the paddle! The power is just there when you want it. I want to drive this thing all day long!!!

Special Thanks to:
Roman and AJ at ESS
Jon at Goodspeed Performance Lab in Tempe, AZ

I promise to follow up another FULL post soon, with more pics and dyno charts.

Here are a couple of teaser pics!

Looks great bro! I'm sure that thing just rockets away with the level of the DCT's response .

good job man ! but that plenum with the crooked "ESS TUNIG" letters doesn't look very appealing ...

I think ESS needs to redesign it or something ...

Although the ESS kit is the most appealing in terms of performance and value, they definitely need to redesign the plenum cover. Some powder coating, or all carbon fiber or something.

I agree with you. Who gives a damn about the lettering on the Plemum? If the owner wants to take care of that later, i doubt it'll be a problem. His car is Supercharged. Congrats man!
