Infinity Design Tune from ///M Power Motorsports (Amazing gains with Dyno Charts)
What a blast it was to spend the day at the Dyno with Abdul (from ///M Power Motorsports) and Salman (Infinity Design Calibration Engineer)! Sal is not a stranger to most of us from his days with Evolve. It was great to work with them. I felt at home as they were kind and accommodating. A great experience all around.
My car already had a tune and I was happy with it. The majority of us on this forum have this tune. Most of us just upload the tune and never end up taking the car to the Dyno to see exactly what numbers it was producing. So when I heard of an opportunity to take my car to an independent Dynojet, I jumped on it. Abdul has been working with many other E60 M5’s and E39 M5’s in the area and I heard he was going to turn his attention to the S65 platform next. We spent 4 hours on the Dyno last week while Sal was doing his magic remotely from the UK. I dynoed the car with my initial tune as well. Not only did it have less power, but the car also didn’t seem happy. The AFR was off and it sounded different. It was strange. With the Infinity tune, I got a few more ponies and the car feels happy and sounds healthy! It definitely has a better throttle response and smoother power delivery than ever before. I don’t have to doubt a tune anymore as I saw it with my own eyes on the Dyno and I feel the difference while driving as well. Even though our cars are old, I’m glad there are people out there still developing things for our cars and have not forgotten about us. Here is a video of my car on the Dyno: First Dyno Run with Stock Tune: Max Power: 343.47 Infinity Stage 2 Dyno Run: Max Power: 363.58 |

20HP not worth it IMO ,,you will not feel this till higher rpm.
How much did you pay for this? I would rather keep my car stock and not losing money for 20 ponies Thanks. |

Stock was pretty boring to me, but if you are happy with it, that is great. With a good tune and catless, you gain noticeable low end power as well. While I agree the dyno improvement above is only from 5000 rpm and up and only about 20 rwhp to 363 rwhp others with more mods and different tunes have enjoyed 390+ rwhp.

Salman is very resourceful, I conduct business with him on a regular business. He is pretty heavy into development with the E60 M5, I am pushing him develop LTH for the M3.
