This is the way the DCT should have come from the factory! I can't believe how much difference this tuning makes. Almost makes me want to get a DCT...almost.

Just got my DCT tune! Wow! When I shift the car pushes forward, eliminating any lag. Quicker yet more subtle shifting. No more lunging while coming to a stop. I feel like it's an F1 gearbox!! Chirps 3rd all day.!! I would say definitely improves .1-.2 sec off 1/4 mile times at least! The stage1 and DCT tune has really transformed the car into a complete animal. Mike Benvo seriously is a genius when it comes to these cars. He knows what he is doing. Overall experience A+++++

So I just got one of the last 2013 DCTs and I was wondering if the stock software on my version is sufficient or if it can be that much better. Do rapid hard downshifts using this software wear down the tranny more? No matter how hard you drive, the interval between upshifts can only be as fast as your engine getting to redline in the current gear whereas downshifts can potentially be done many at a time within a couple seconds with proper software...
I guess the question is, is this upgrade worth it to a guy who drives in city traffic daily? I use S5 and MDM exclusively once the car is warm enough. |

How much is the software tune? Either I'm slow this morning or I could not find a price on Benvo's site. |
