BMW Event Dates at Nürburgring for 2012

July 31 Evening Orientation
August 1-2 Training

October 21 Evening Orientation
October 22-23 Training

October 23 Evening Orientation
October 24-25 Training

This is for the 2-day "BMW M Fascination Nordschleife" Experience event where you get two-days of training on the 'Ring, divided into 8 sections, and several hours of full laps. You share a car which BMW provides (M3 Coupé w/ DCT) and BMW provides all food and lodging for 2 nights. English instruction is available on these dates.

I'll be there for the July/August event.

Oh yes, back to the 'Ring, one more time!

All event dates appear to be filled with registrants.

I will be at the 31 Jul - 2 Aug event.

If anyone wants to possibly meet up, although I'm not yet sure what I'll be doing (museums, battlefields, wine and resting up), I am arriving in Frankfurt Sunday morning (29 Jul) and flying back out from there Saturday morning (4 Aug). If someone wants an airport pickup I might be bribed or I can tell you how to take the train to get you closer for a better pick up possibility. I will have a rental car, likely a Sixt M3 as usual.

Supposedly there will be 1Ms as well as M3s however only the instructors were driving the 1Ms last October. I think they were experiencing a high rate of transmission failures, probably from the guest drivers. Personally I'd rather drive the M3 exclusively anyway.

Don't wait for them to send you an email. I didn't have much luck with that.

Just keep hitting the site and you will see that people will cancel out and 1 or 2 spots will open up for a few days.
