Clear Coat Repair Melbourne?

Hi guys,
The dreaded high pressure hose got under my clear coat today

Anyone had theirs repaired in Melbourne? Recommendations? Approximate Cost?

Many wont touch it because it's carbon as opposed to a regular panel.
BMW Bodyshop in Bundoora said they'd most likely replace the whole roof

Just use a air compressor with a blower attachment to remove the gel coat or use a pressure washer. Wash the carbon fiber and take it to a body shop of your choice. Mine was 450ish with 4 coats of clear.

Paid $1700 , they flow coated it. Cheapest quote I got from another shop was $1000( no flow coat) and most expensive was $4000, happy to have paid in the mid range

Hey mate,
I had some quotes similar to sct911 above, and even had recommendation to replace to whole roof at $30k.
I didn't really trust any of the options I got, and didnt really get any recommendations from anyone, and seeing it was going to be an Insurance job out of my pocket I didnt go through with it.
In the end I got a $15 resin repair kit and touched it up. Happy how it turned out for now.
Im sure other areas will pop up in the future, so if/when it happens again I'll address the issue then.
