Everything is good ... For now
I broke at least 5 clips doing this TA swap and fuel breather valve
I am worried that something will come undone because of a broken clip and I have to go back in there
I may need to stock up on hoses and connectors

If that is the worst you've gotten you are in good shape! Over the years I have come to loath all of BMW's material engineers that came up with the plastic parts. Can't tell you how many clips and plugs I have had break. Of course, it is not just BMW. We currently have a Lexus SUV that literally EVERY plastic bit broke when I was doing plugs and VC gaskets. I must have had to put 30 zip ties on things to keep them in place and/or plugged in.

zip ties are lifesavers

I'm not sure if it's because I've been in limp mode for over a week or if my car actually got faster but it felt great to finally drive it like it's meant to be driven

Purchased an assorted size clamp box from harbor freight for $15
I actually put the hose back on without putting the clamp over the hose at first so I had to use hose pliers to pull it off again
Now looks almost as good as new

I installed a Recaro SPG XL seat on Recaro rail/ shell mounted on a MS floor mount. Absolutely transformed driving for me as it’s my first bucket seat in any car.

Looks great! They really complete the “racecar” driving experience. Not to mention save a ton of weight and hold you in place really well!

I’ve been tackling a similar project the past few days. Installed 2 Recaro Spg’s with Pro Car Innovations mounts and sliders. Had a buddy make me a couple seat belt brackets. I’ll grab hardware tomorrow and code out the air bag stuff and we wait for a roll cage!

Finished spring cleaning today. Now just need the weather to warm back up again.

- Cleaned and Leatherique'd the interior. Used a Colourlock kit to fix the wearing out bolsters. Pretty close match I'd say.

- Got the car all washed up, polished and coated (along with the wheels). Cleaned up the engine bay, too. Trying out Adam's Slick and Slide as a topper. I think the wrap is also smoothing out over time and with polishing.

- Replaced the aging out PS4S' with fresh ones. Hopefully the rear end won't be as slippery, now. Just learned I need to call Discount Tire tomorrow, because apparently they didn't count for the Michelin Spring rebate (yet Tire Rack is cool, even though they're owned by Discount now...)

- Completed the yearly oil change. First supercharger oil change should be coming up this summer.

Looking good! Would love a ride now that you’ve got the new kit in place, maybe see you at the Clackamas Ramble clib drive Saturday after next. I’ve been rehabbing a ‘99 996 to provide a foil for the Harrop e90. All that time on my garage floor makes me grateful for the work that went into the e90 last spring and how reliable the platform is.

Won't be at that drive. I will likely head the Portland Cars and Coffee summer season start that's on the 15th, though.

Installed test pipes and gave it a bath. I’m digging the sound so far. Not as loud as my previous setup but what I’ve lost in sound I’ve gained in tone. Think next step is replacing the secondary with another pair of resonators to get some sound back.
