Shop for Rod Bearing replacement in NC?

Bimmer Performance Center in Raleigh is typically recommended, not sure of any places in Wilmington though

Could try Wilmington Motor Werks, or come by the dealership for a quote at least. I work here at BMW of Wilmington.

I was quoted $1575 before tax just in labor. I already have everything necessary to swap bearings...i.e. BE Bearings, arp bolts, oil, filter, motor mounts, and oil pan gasket. This quote is given by BPC in Raleigh.

Yeah I purchased mine with 62k. I can vouch for my driving, but can't for the previous owner. Better safe than sorry!

Maintenance is just plain stupid though. Already back 1k after a bad thermostat. Didn't have any tools or time to accomplish myself.
